Quail seeds - Quail Breeds in Indonesia, There is three kind of quail breed by farmer in Indonesia.
They are:
Japanese Quail / Coturnik Javanika
Coturnik Javanika (or Moslt known as Japanese Quail) is originated from East Asia.
This variant is the most common quail that can be easily found in Indonesian quail farm.
This is because Japanese Quail's food ration is rather less than other variants.
Benefit :
Food consumption per day of Japanese Quail is only 22 grams of food.
Average of egg production is 300 eggs / year.

Autumn Quail
Autum Quail, or usually called Blorok Quail, is originated frim China.
This variant is also called cross-breed by locals.
Autumn quail have a bigger structure than Japanese Quail / Coturnik Javanica (but still, the chicks are very cute and adorable).
The color of Autumn Quail egg is yellowish white with some black spot on the bottom side.
Daily food consumption is 23 grams / day.
Productivity rate: 300 eggs / year

Malon Quail
Malon quail is originated from france.
This variant are farmed for their meat rather than their eggs.
But in practice, Malon quail that is currently spread in Indonesian quail farm is not pure malon but a cross-breed.
You have to prepare extra effort for this variant of quail, especialy with the fact that their droppings is rather wet compared to other quail variants.
Food consumption : 26 grams / day.
Productivity rate: 250-290 eggs / year.

From all three above mentioned variants, we can clearly see that the variant with the most benfit is the Coturnik Javanika ( Japanese Quail ).
This is because they have the biggest productivity rate and their small ration of food.
And because this variant is the most commonly breed, they are called "Local Quail" by most local farmer.
Although in reality, local Quail is totaly different with above three variants.
